Camlock Coupling |
Camlock couplings, also known as cam and groove couplings, are a type of quick disconnect coupling commonly used in industrial applications for the transfer of liquids, powders, and granules.
Camlock fittings are couplings that allow users to quickly connect or disconnect pipe, hose or tubing without tools. Cam and groove fittings are also know as camlock fittings or couplings. These couplings consist of a grooved male adapter and a female cam coupler with handles or arms.
Consist of two main components: the male adapter (also known as the "cam" or "male end") and the female coupler (also known as the "groove" or "female end").
Types: A, B, C, D, E, F, DC, DP
Materials: 304/316 Stainless Steel, Copper, Aluminum, PP
This Type A camlock (Cam and Groove) fitting has a male camlock quick connect coupling on one side and female NPT threads on the other side. The male camlock side of this coupler will only attach to a female camlock. The female threaded side will connect to a male NPT (National Pipe Tapered) threaded pipe.
The body of this cam and groove fitting is made of aluminum. Aluminum cam lock fittings are lightweight and are corrosion and abrasion resistant. This fitting’s seal is made of NBR (Buna-N) rubber. Buna-N seals are resistant to fuel, oil, and other chemicals.
