Features
This EPDM chemical hose inner layer adopts food-grade UHMWPE (ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene) with a molecular weight of 1.5-5 million, which can resist 98% of industrial chemicals including 96% sulfuric acid, 65% nitric acid and various organic solvents, featuring non-stick inner wall, low friction coefficient and zero medium penetration, effectively avoiding medium contamination and pipe blockage . The outer layer is made of high-quality EPDM rubber with one-piece molding, which has outstanding performance of ozone resistance, UV resistance, abrasion resistance and aging resistance, and can maintain good flexibility and structural stability in the temperature range of -40°C to +120°C, suitable for outdoor, high salt spray and other harsh environments .
Main Structure
The middle reinforcement layer is constructed with high-strength polyester cord fabric braiding + embedded spiral steel wire (with conductive copper wire optional), which endows the hose with excellent pressure bearing capacity (working pressure up to 20bar/300psi) and anti-explosion performance, and the safety factor reaches 4:1; the built-in spiral steel wire also ensures full vacuum resistance and prevents the hose from collapsing during suction work.
Flexible features
The EPDM chemical hose has good flexibility and small bending radius, easy to install and lay in narrow spaces, and can withstand repeated bending and torsion without cracking or delamination. It has passed FDA 21 CFR 177.1520 food grade certification and EN12115 explosion-proof standard, with no plasticizer precipitation and static conduction function, meeting the safety requirements of different industries.
Wide application
This chemical suction and delivery hose is widely applicable to chemical industry, pharmaceutical, food and beverage, new energy, environmental protection and shipbuilding industries, for the positive pressure and suction transportation of strong acid, strong alkali, organic solvent, battery slurry, food raw materials and corrosive wastewater; it can replace traditional 316L stainless steel pipes to reduce investment and maintenance costs, and its service life is 3-8 times longer than ordinary rubber hoses in high wear and corrosion working conditions.
